PJI-One stage Exchange – The New Golden standard?
The method of choice in the management of chronic infections is the exchange arthroplasty. The exchange arthroplasty can be performed either in a one- or in a two-stage setting. Since the first implantation of mixing cement into bone cement in 1970s, the ENDO-Klinik followed until now in over 85% of all infected cases the one-stage exchange arthroplasty for the management of PJI.
